LIVE Press conference to celebrate 80 years of building and developing the Agriculture and Environment sector

On the morning of November 5, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the Ministry held a press conference to announce activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Agriculture and Environment sector (1945-2025) and the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress.

This is an important political and social event, marking the 80-year journey of construction, growth and dedication of the Agriculture and Environment sector, while affirming the strategic and pivotal role of agriculture, farmers, rural areas, resources and environment in the country's sustainable development.

The 80th anniversary is an opportunity for the entire industry to review the glorious tradition, pay tribute to generations of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who have contributed; at the same time, arouse the spirit of innovation, creativity and aspiration to rise up in the new period - the period of green transformation, development of ecological agriculture, circular economy and sustainable growth associated with environmental protection.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary will take place from July to December 2025, with many diverse activities spreading widely across the country.

At the press conference, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will introduce a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the sector (1945-2025), the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress, which will honor outstanding collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025, and at the same time set out directions and tasks for the period 2026-2030. In addition, the Exhibition of 80 years of achievements of the Agriculture and Environment sector will also be announced, displaying the imprints, initiatives and outstanding results of the entire sector over 8 decades.
