On May 17, Binh Dinh Provincial Museum (Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh) held the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition Binh Dinh Cultural Heritage - Identity and Potential . This is an activity to celebrate the 45th anniversary of International Museum Day (May 18, 1978 - May 18, 2023) and the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023).

Mr. Bui Tinh, Director of Binh Dinh Provincial Museum, said that the exhibition displays 168 photos displayed on 37 panels, divided into 4 parts, including: Historical, cultural relics, scenic spots; national treasures; intangible cultural heritage (festivals, traditional craft villages); Binh Dinh culinary culture...

These photos demonstrate the potential for cultural and tourism development of Binh Dinh province, aiming to enhance the image of the country and people of Binh Dinh, especially in the period of promoting industrialization - modernization and international integration.

Many students of Quy Nhon University visited the exhibition at Binh Dinh Provincial Museum.

Currently, Binh Dinh province has 143 ranked historical and cultural relics, including 2 special national relics, 34 national relics, and 107 provincial relics.

Binh Dinh is the birthplace of the great culture of the ancient Sa Huynh people, bearing the typical characteristics of the Bronze Age, leaving behind many rich relics such as: Cuom Cave (Hoai Nhon Town); Truong Xe, Go Loi, Thuan Dao, Chanh Trach (Phu My District); Hoi Loc, Ngang Mountain, Diep Hill (Quy Nhon City).

Binh Dinh was the capital of the Champa Dynasty from the 11th to the 14th century.
