The space recreates the scene of teachers and students working and building the Ma River dike before being bombed by American planes in 1972.

In the battle on April 3 and 4, 1965, the Thanh Hoa army and people on the front line to protect Ham Rong bridge shot down 47 planes, capturing 2 enemy pilots. Ham Rong alone shot down 31 American planes in 2 days, setting a record for destroying American planes in the skies of North Vietnam. In total, in the 2 times of destroying the North, the army and people of the "fire land" Ham Rong shot down 117 planes, captured many enemy pilots, and held the bridge, setting an unprecedented record for protecting the bridge in world history.

The achievements of the army and people of Ham Rong were praised by President Ho Chi Minh: "Very good! Ham Rong people are good. Ham Rong workers are good. Ham Rong farmers are also good. Ham Rong soldiers and militia are all good. Try to produce and fight even better, defeat the American invaders."
