Head of the Front's Economic Affairs Committee

As the Head of the Front's Working Committee, Mr. Danh thought: If we want to do a good job of propaganda and mobilizing the people, we must do it well first. After many sleepless nights, he realized that the garden - pond - barn model was the most suitable for his family's conditions.

In early 2018, he boldly dug a pond to store irrigation water and raise fish; at the same time, he converted some old, low-yielding coffee areas to grow new TR1 coffee varieties interspersed with some fruit trees such as durian and avocado.

He researched, learned and participated in training courses on the application of science and technology in cultivation and animal husbandry to his family's economic model. Thanks to that, his family's crops and animals have grown well; currently each year they bring in nearly 1 billion VND in income.

The coffee garden intercropped with durian brings high economic efficiency to Mr. Trieu Van Danh's family.

Mr. Danh shared: “When the family economy is prosperous and income is stable, there is more time for social activities; propaganda and mobilization of people to comply with the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and actively respond to movements and campaigns are also more favorable."

From 2015 to present, Mr. Danh has coordinated with local departments, branches and organizations to mobilize people of village 5B to contribute more than 2.5 billion VND to concretize roads in the village, install security camera systems, lighting systems, build new ones and purchase equipment for the village hall; contribute to the Gratitude Fund, the Fund for the Poor... with an amount of nearly 300 million VND.

At the same time, actively mobilize people to change the structure of crops and livestock; apply science and technology in production. Currently, the average income per capita in the village reaches nearly 120 million VND/year; the village has no poor households, only 3 near-poor households.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Hiao Commune, Vu Ngoc Nhung, commented: “Not only is he good at economics, Mr. Danh has made many contributions to mobilizing people to effectively implement campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, especially the economic development and new rural construction movements. In 2024 alone, Mr. Danh and the Party cell and the village self-management board mobilized people to contribute nearly 500 million VND to build a new village hall and purchase hall equipment...”.
