On September 18, according to a source from Dan Tri reporter, the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province has just responded to people's complaints related to Ta Tai Loi Secondary School (Dong Hai district, former Bac Lieu province, now Dong Hai commune, Ca Mau province) carrying out a number of educational activities that were not in accordance with previous regulations.
Previously, people reported that Ta Tai Loi Secondary School organized 2 sessions/day and the Principal integrated some extra subjects into the official timetable, which was not in accordance with regulations.
The school was also accused of collecting tutoring fees for weak students in recent years, which was not in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the former Bac Lieu province.

Verification by the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province shows that the content reflecting that the school organized 2 teaching sessions/day and integrated some extra subjects into the official timetable not in accordance with regulations is correct.
Regarding the report that schools collect tutoring fees for weak students, according to the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province, this content is partly true.
The Department said that through statistics on the number of students attending 2 sessions/day at the beginning of each school year, no student was ranked as poor at the end of the year, only a few students were assessed as not achieving in some subjects.
The Department of Education and Training also requested the school to consult with relevant agencies, organizations and individuals to handle the funds collected from teaching 2 sessions/day which are not in accordance with regulations.
