Dalat University awards IT engineering degrees to students who are police officers and soldiers

(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of May 26, Dalat University held a closing ceremony and awarded IT engineering degrees to 25 students in the part-time program.

Attending were Colonel Le Hong Phong - Deputy Director of Provincial Police; MSc. Tran Thong - Vice Principal of Dalat University.

25 students received IT engineering degrees

This is a joint training class between the Provincial Police and Da Lat University to promptly equip the necessary knowledge for the team of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police in the fight against high-tech crimes.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Viet Tien - Deputy Head of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police, expressed gratitude to the teachers.

Vice Principal Tran Thong said: During the 3 years of studying and training at Dalat University, Faculty of Information Technology, the students of the class have constantly strived to accumulate knowledge and professional skills in many important fields such as: Design and operation of computer network systems, system safety and security, deployment of network infrastructure and services, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT) and detection and handling of technological incidents.

The program also includes internships so that students can apply their knowledge and skills to their actual work, accumulating and improving their work experience.

The content of graduation projects is mostly related to the professional expertise of students at agencies and units and is highly appreciated by the project evaluation board.

The class committee presented flowers and souvenirs to Dalat University and the Faculty of Information Technology.

Thanks to that, even though it is a 2nd Degree class, studying while working, students still have full access to modern knowledge, so that each officer and soldier can improve their professional qualifications, better serve the task of ensuring security and order, applying information technology in crime prevention and control and digital transformation in the police force.
