Ho Chi Minh City University of Law "plays big", awards scholarships worth over 12 billion VND to students

Ho Chi Minh City University of Law announced that it has just held a meeting of the council to review the second semester study encouragement scholarships for the 2023-2024 school year for 555 students. After making the list, the total scholarship amount is more than 12 billion VND.

Excellent students receive scholarships of 55,620,000 VND/person

To receive the scholarship, students of each course must complete the required courses with the specified number of credits for each course and have the required academic and training scores according to the council's regulations.

It is known that the excellent scholarship receives 150% of the tuition fee, the good scholarship receives 100% of the tuition fee, the fair scholarship receives 50% of the tuition fee. After review, the list has many students receiving scholarships of over 55 million VND/student.

Master Vu Dinh Le, Deputy Director of the Consulting Center - Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, said that the school had previously spent more than 250 million VND on a student majoring in law, in a high-quality class (taught in English) who achieved excellent academic results.

"The school has a special preferential policy for students: only collect tuition 2 weeks before the start of the semester exam. In case students do not have enough money for tuition, they can apply for an extension, however, the "extension ticket" is only valid 1-2 times" - MSc. Le informed.

Every year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law also receives and implements a variety of scholarships to support students such as corporate scholarships, alumni scholarships, study abroad scholarships, postgraduate scholarships... to accompany and support students to have more opportunities to study and develop.
