How to calculate admission scores for Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City
Method 1 : Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Specifically, direct admission and priority admission are implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the priority policy for direct admission and priority admission according to the school's admission regulations.
Method 2 : Comprehensive admission of Ho Chi Minh City Banking University based on high school academic results and achievements.
This method applies to candidates graduating from high school in 2024 and 2025. For candidates graduating in 2024, the average score of semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1, semester 2 of grade 12 must be 6.5 or higher. For candidates graduating in 2025, the learning results of semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1, semester 2 of grade 12 must be good or higher.
Notably, the school has just announced how to calculate the admission score for this method. The admission score is the converted score according to the subject combination of 3 semesters plus the converted score according to other criteria (if any) and the total converted priority score (if any). Priority scores for subjects and regions are converted on a 150-point scale.
Converted score according to subject combination of 3 semesters = Converted score (average score according to combination of semester 2 grade 11) + Converted score (average score according to combination of semester 1 grade 12) + Converted score (average score according to combination of semester 2 grade 12).
Conversion score according to other criteria = Conversion score of international English certificate + Conversion score of excellent student selection exam + Conversion score of specialized/gifted school.
Method 3 : Admission based on the results of the 2025 V-SAT computer-based university entrance exam.
Admission requirements apply to candidates graduating in 2024 or earlier. Candidates must have an average GPA of 6.5 or higher in semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 and semester 2 of grade 12. For candidates graduating in 2025, the GPA of semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 and semester 2 of grade 12 must be good or higher.
Candidates can participate in many rounds of V-SAT computer-based university entrance assessment organized by Ho Chi Minh City Banking University, each round of registration for at least 1 subject group. The test results of the rounds of the year will only be considered for admission in the correct year of admission and at the correct time for receiving university admission application documents according to this method. All subjects in the admission group must be taken at the exact school organizing the exam.
Ho Chi Minh City Banking University only accepts V-SAT test results from units that have signed an agreement to organize, recognize and share the results of the V-SAT computer-based university entrance exam with the school.
Method 4 : Admission method based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam. The school will announce the threshold score to ensure input quality for each admission major after the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam are available.
Method 5 : Consideration of high school transcripts and interviews, applicable to international regular university programs with partners granting degrees, students graduating from high school or equivalent.
