Sung Phai Kindergarten: Received certificate of recognition as a national standard school level 1

The school currently has 27 staff members, teachers and employees. The rate of excellent teachers at all levels is 77.8%, of which 57.1% are at the city and provincial levels. The school has 3 campuses in Trung Tam, Trung Chai and Sung Phai with a total area of ​​nearly 4,900m². The facilities are spacious and modern with 8 classrooms, 2 Montessori rooms, 2 standard kitchens, 2 libraries, 2 art rooms and areas for physical development and experiencing ethnic culture.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school mobilized 170 children to attend class in 8 groups/classes, an increase of 9 students compared to the previous school year, exceeding the assigned target by 5.6%. The mobilization rate of children aged 25-36 months reached 83%, and preschool children aged 3-5 years old attended class at 100%. The physical development and skill indicators of the children all exceeded the target: 96% attendance, 98.9% normal weight development, 91.8% height, 91.8% good and healthy children, 83.5% talented children.

Leaders of the Departmentof Education and Training, Lai Chau city and People's Committees of communes and wards congratulated Sung Phai Kindergarten on achieving National standards level 1.

Building a national standard school is one of the important goals. Through the process of implementation and striving to achieve, Sung Phai Kindergarten has successfully completed the criteria of a national standard school and has been recognized by Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee as meeting national standards level 1 according to Decision 1849/QD-UBND dated December 27, 2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Dang Quang Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee requested that the Board of Directors and the collective of cadres, teachers and staff of the school continue to promote the spirit of initiative, creativity, enhance the capacity of autonomy and self-responsibility in organizing and implementing educational tasks. In particular, proactively develop plans and organize the implementation of educational tasks, in accordance with the development orientation of the locality, actual conditions and characteristics of ethnic minority areas; closely coordinate with commune-level authorities and local mass organizations in the work of mobilizing children, caring for and educating children; continue to maintain and improve the quality of national standard schools, constantly innovate, create, improve the quality of nurturing, caring for and educating children...

On this occasion, the collective of Sung Phai Kindergarten was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Department of Education and Training; Lai Chau City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in building a national standard school in the 2024-2025 school year.
