The Center for Testing and Assessment of Training Quality of Ho Chi Minh City National University has just sent Saigon University the percentile table for the group of candidates who also have the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment test scores and the capacity assessment test scores in 2025 (combinations A00, C00) so that the school has a basis in developing a plan to convert admission scores.

This was done by Ho Chi Minh City National University after Saigon University announced to stop admission based on capacity assessment scores for five majors because the conversion framework for admission scores based on capacity assessment scores to admission scores based on high school graduation exam scores in 2025 according to the percentile of Ho Chi Minh City National University announced earlier did not have the combination A00 (math - physics - chemistry), C00 (literature - history - geography).

Afterwards, Saigon University withdrew its previous announcement about "not using the capacity assessment score method to consider admission for majors with the original combination of A00 and C00".

The school continues to consider admission based on the results of the competency assessment test for five majors, including history, geography, information - library science, applied mathematics, and data science (excluding teacher training majors for which the school announced that it would not consider the competency assessment test scores).

Ho Chi Minh City National University is the university with the largest training scale in the country. Up to now, the school has trained about 100,000 full-time undergraduate students, graduate students, and researchers.

According to the university admission regulations and admission guidelines for 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training, training institutions are responsible for determining and publicizing the rules for converting equivalent scores between admission methods.

Schools apply the percentile table announced by Ho Chi Minh City National University, based on the conversion framework of admission scores according to Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment test scores to admission scores according to high school graduation exam scores in 2025.

The conversion framework for admission scores based on capacity assessment test scores to admission scores based on high school graduation exam scores in 2025 of Ho Chi Minh City National University has two more subject groups, bringing the total number of subject groups to six.
