Communication on drowning prevention for more than 500 students

At Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School (Tuy Hoa City), the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Pioneer Council organized a communication program to prevent drowning accidents in Phu Yen province in 2025 for more than 500 students of the school.

At the program, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union presented life jackets to 20 students; promoted drowning prevention; trained knowledge and skills to proactively prevent injuries, drowning, first aid for drowning accidents and learn safe swimming; and held a Golden Bell contest to learn about drowning prevention.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Vo Duy Kha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council, said that recently, the situation of students drowning has occurred continuously in many provinces and cities across the country, including Phu Yen province. Faced with this situation, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union Council have organized swimming classes and drowning prevention skills for students and children in the province; organized a festival to propagate drowning prevention to young people; established a "Phu Yen Province Drowning Prevention Communication Team" with 30 volunteers to participate in communication activities on drowning prevention for children in the province.
