In the latest episode of the show "Newlywed Couple ," MCs Hong Van and Quoc Thuan welcomed Tran Hoang Diem Tram (36 years old) and Tran Huu Phung (31 years old). The couple owns a chain of eyelash supply stores in the United States.

While still in Vietnam, the two met through a messaging app. Diem Tram secretly thought that since she didn't have a boyfriend and someone was messaging her so charmingly, she decided to "get to know him." Huu Phung had similar thoughts, as he had only one year left before going to the US.

After a month of chatting online, the two had their first date at a restaurant. Upon meeting, Diễm Trâm immediately felt that the guy wasn't her type. She perceived him as "immature" and cute, while she preferred someone tall, big, and muscular. But seeing Phụng's good looks, Trâm felt a little flutter in her heart.

Huu Phung said that in the beginning, when they started texting, he only saw half-body photos of his wife, making it difficult to see clearly. "Actually, I also had a strategy for chatting beforehand to gradually get to know her," he shared. When they met, Phung found Tram a little short but exactly his type, very lively and with a knack for business.

Initially, Huu Phung said he was the same age as Diem Tram. But then, he confessed the truth by showing his ID card to the girl. At that moment, Tram was quite surprised because the guy was 5 years younger than her. Feeling uncomfortable, the girl wanted to leave immediately, even though the two were on a date.

Huu Phung wasn't surprised because he had anticipated this situation, but he was still determined to talk to and persuade Diem Tram.

At that time, Tram's income was much higher than Phung's, while the groom had nothing but a entrepreneurial spirit. Tram was always there to encourage and support Phung. Therefore, he greatly cherished that relationship.

Meanwhile, the girl's family noticed that the young man was hardworking and determined, exactly the type she was looking for. Gradually, Tram fell for Phung without even realizing it.

After nine months together, Huu Phung moved to the US to start a career. "Our love story was very difficult. At that time, when he told me he was going to the US at the end of the year, I was shocked because I was so deeply in love and worried about our relationship," Tram recounted.

She continued: "He asked if I wanted to marry him as a token of our commitment, but I didn't accept because we'd only known each other for a year, and we didn't have anything to bind us together yet. I was afraid he'd leave and not come back to marry me, and that would tarnish our reputation, so I didn't like the idea."

Throughout their three years of long-distance relationship, the two frequently called each other. Every six months, Diem Tram would travel to the US to visit her boyfriend. Recounting their time together, Diem Tram couldn't help but feel emotional. She felt deeply sorry for her husband, seeing him struggling to cycle to school and work.

Diem Tram never refused her husband, even though he failed many times. Huu Phung lost everything in all four of his entrepreneurial attempts.

Huu Phung's career took off when his wife moved to the US to join him. She decided to quit her stable job to start a business with her husband. They started from scratch, so they faced a lot of pressure. Because they were new to the business, they hadn't yet found the right market, so they spent a lot of money and had to be very careful with every penny.

Diem Tram found a stable job to pay for rent and insurance, providing financial support for her husband so he could focus on his business. At that time, Huu Phung took the products to each nail salon, selling only a few boxes because the products were still very new. They used the money to buy gas and bread.
