With its impressive scale, creative vision and immense value, EXPO 2025 is truly a festival of global knowledge and creativity, a place where the spirit of international solidarity and cooperation converges.
Tell stories with pride
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long emphasized that the World Expo is a global event of great significance; an opportunity for countries and international organizations around the world to display their achievements, share ideas, initiatives and solutions for socio-economic development. At the same time, it promotes images, cultural exchanges, trade connections and promotes the development of science and technology, contributing to responding to common challenges of humanity and shaping a common future.

In that spirit, with the theme of Designing Future Society for Our Lives , EXPO 2025 is a meaningful convergence point; a combination of the past, present and future; an important occasion for countries to spread cultural values, advanced scientific and technological achievements; raise common awareness and strengthen cooperation in implementing the United Nations' sustainable development goals as well as building our ideal life model in the future.

More particularly, this is the second time this meaningful event has been held in the beautiful and hospitable Osaka province, with the participation of nearly 170 countries and international organizations and about 30 million visitors.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that, participating in the EXPO 2025 Exhibition, Vietnam chose the theme of a comprehensive society with people at the center ; thereby, wishing to share proud stories about a Vietnam with a heroic history; a dynamic, integrated economy; a rich, diverse, and unique culture; hardworking, loyal, and hospitable people; an orderly and safe society. All for a prosperous and happy life for the people, "leaving no one behind".
This is even more meaningful when this year's Vietnam National Day falls on the historic September days, when the Vietnamese people solemnly celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The Vietnam Pavilion at EXPO 2025 is a combination of tradition, modernity and future with modern display language and technology to spread proud stories about the country and people of Vietnam to international friends with the aspiration to break through in the new era.

The exhibition also introduces the potential and strengths of localities and businesses to open up opportunities for cooperation and investment in the future. Since its official opening, the Vietnam Exhibition House has welcomed about 1 million visitors and is considered one of the favorite destinations.
The Deputy Prime Minister continued to affirm that, entering a new era of development, promoting the good traditions and achievements after 40 years of renovation, Vietnam's top priority is to successfully implement the strategic goals by 2030: becoming a developing country with modern industry and high average income; by 2045: becoming a developed country with high income; all people are comprehensively developed, have a prosperous, free and happy life; and a prosperous, civilized and prosperous society.
During that period, Vietnam has consistently implemented a foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, diversification, for peace, cooperation and development; being a friend, a reliable partner, and a responsible member of the international community. In particular, Vietnam appreciates that Japan has always been a leading important partner, a sincere and trustworthy friend, accompanying Vietnam for many decades.

The Deputy Prime Minister believes that on the basis of high political trust, similarities in culture, history and people; long-standing people-to-people exchanges and potentials and strengths that can complement each other; along with the framework of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia and the world, the Vietnam - Japan friendship and cooperation will enter a new stage of development that is more comprehensive, strategic and profound in all fields, for the benefit of the people of the two countries, for peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
