TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company's Trade Union visits and supports people affected by storms and floods

(DN) - On the afternoon of October 28, the Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province) said: From October 27, the unit coordinated with the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai Province to organize a visit and give gifts to support families that suffered heavy losses caused by storms No. 10 and No. 11 in Tran Phu Ward and Loc Ha Commune, Ha Tinh Province.

Accordingly, on the first day of the journey, the delegation donated 700 million VND from donations and support from officers, employees and the company's Board of Directors to support people affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11.

The delegation visited and presented 100 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to disabled students and students in difficult circumstances at Thanh Sen High School (Tran Phu Ward) and Binh An Thinh Secondary School (Loc Ha Commune, Ha Tinh Province); visited and presented support money to environmental sanitation workers and union members, laborers and people who suffered heavy losses due to the storm.

Mr. Dinh Sy Phuc, Chairman of the Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, said: The trip to the Central and Northern regions to support people affected by storms and floods is a journey of sharing love of workers working in Dong Nai province in general and the entire company's labor collective in particular, wanting to send their feelings and share love to the people. The meaningful gifts donated by workers will be shared with the people in a timely manner, helping them quickly recover from the damage caused by storms and floods.

Previously, the Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company launched a campaign to support people affected by storms and floods and received the support and consensus of the entire company's employees. In just 3 days of launching, the total amount of money raised by all the company's staff was 2 billion VND. According to the plan, after supporting Ha Tinh province, the delegation will go to Cao Bang province to continue supporting the people. The journey will last from October 27 to October 31.
