Exhibition from October 15 - 24

On the morning of October 15, the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Ha Nam Provincial Ornamental Plants Exhibition and Fair.

Delegates attended the opening of the exhibition.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Tran Thi Ngan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Duc Vuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Vietnam Ornamental Plants Association; leaders of Phu Ly City; Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Ornamental Plants Associations of provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region.

This exhibition and fair of ornamental plants is large-scale, gathering many quintessential, high-quality ornamental plant products, diverse in product types of associations, craft villages, clubs, ornamental plant artisans from provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region and some southern provinces; 6 ornamental plant associations of districts, towns, cities and many typical gardeners. More than 1,000 works on display at the exhibition are mainly bonsai art, antiques, miniatures of typical artisans, famous gardeners across the country. In addition, the exhibition also gathers nearly 3,000 high-class wooden art works, ornamental stones, feng shui stones... These are unique works of art, imbued with deep humanity and philosophy, contributing to spreading the beauty of "truth, goodness, beauty".

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Vuong presented souvenir flags to units participating in the exhibition.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition and fair, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Vuong acknowledged and praised the efforts and high responsibility of Phu Ly city and the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association in organizing the exhibition. At the same time, he emphasized: Ornamental plants are an industry with economic , cultural, ecological and environmental factors; Ha Nam Ornamental Plants Association has made important contributions to the development of agriculture, rural areas and farmers. Initially, a market for buying, selling and consuming ornamental plant products and agricultural products in the province has been formed, creating jobs for workers, increasing income and improving people's lives. In order for the profession of growing and caring for ornamental plants to gradually develop and become an economic sector that brings high profits, in addition to the efforts of gardeners and ornamental plant artisans in increasing investment in facilities, applying new technology and digital technology, it is necessary to have the creativity of artisans to create good quality products, bringing high economic and aesthetic value. Along with that, building models of garden houses, green, clean, beautiful, friendly ornamental craft villages; are attractive destinations to attract tourists, aiming to develop community tourism and local eco-tourism.

At the opening ceremony, the provincial leaders and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Ornamental Plants Association and the Exhibition Organizing Committee cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

The 2024 Ha Nam Provincial Ornamental Plants Exhibition and Fair with the theme of welcoming Ha Nam to be honored by the World Tourism Organization as "Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination" in 2024 and the theme "Brilliant Ha Nam" by the Provincial People's Committee, will take place from October 15 to 24, 2024.
