The People's Committee of Ha Nam province has just held a conference to deploy the organization of Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week in 2024 to promote and advertise Ha Nam culture, sports, tourism, and investment services in 2024.
Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2024 with the theme "Ha Nam - Local cultural destination" is expected to be held in the third quarter of 2024.
The cultural week is expected to have the following main contents: The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Cultural and Tourism Week and the Art Program with the theme "Brilliant Ha Nam" will take place on the evening of September 7 at Nguyen Van Linh Street, Lam Ha Ward, Phu Ly City. The event will be organized with the participation of 1,000 invited delegates and 50,000 spectators.
It is expected that the Program will announce and award Asian and World tourism awards to Ha Nam and organize the first high-altitude fireworks display for tourists and people to enjoy.

Also within the framework of Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2024, there will be a Street Festival - Ha Nam Carnival and provincial-level sports tournaments (Ha Nam Television Cup Badminton Tournament 2024, Sports Tournament for the Elderly);
Host national sports tournaments in Ha Nam such as: National Youth Rowing and Canoeing Championship, 2024 National Women's Futsal Championship, National U19 Women's Football Championship; Ha Nam Provincial Martial Arts Festival; Launching Ceremony of the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho";
Cross-country race "Running with Sacombank for community health" in Ha Nam province in 2024; Summary of the contest to create logos and slogans for Ha Nam tourism; Conference on promoting investment and tourism development in Ha Nam province;
Launching ceremony of the Propaganda Painting Contest to welcome the 21st Congress of Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, Celebrating the 135th Anniversary of the Founding of Ha Nam Province; Hosting the Exhibition of large-scale propaganda paintings to celebrate the 95th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
At the conference, leaders of departments and branches gave their opinions on the following issues: organization and calling on neighboring localities of Ha Nam province to participate in booths displaying OCOP products at the event space; communication and promotion for the Culture and Tourism Week; coordination in organizing the demonstration of Mid-Autumn lantern products in the 2024 Mid-Autumn Lantern Model Competition of Phu Ly City...
Based on the comments at the conference, Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee Truong Quoc Huy agreed with the plan to implement Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week in 2024 as well as the plan to implement a series of activities to promote tourism and investment services in Ha Nam.
It is noted that the 2024 Ha Nam Street Festival - Carnival will be held before Christmas 2024; The final round of the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Model Competition of Phu Ly city will be included in the series of activities of the Culture and Tourism Week.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned specific tasks to relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities in coordinating the organization of activities of the Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week in 2024. In particular, press and media agencies should increase information, propaganda and promotion in diverse and attractive forms on the media and platforms about this series of activities.
