In the programs "Border Spring - Warming the hearts of the villagers", "Border and island spring - Tet with warm military-civilian affection", the provincial border guard youth coordinated with localities to present 112 Border Warm Homes, 12.5 tons of rice, 10,970 Tet cakes, and more than 10,000 Tet gifts to people in border areas...

In the work of preventing and fighting natural disasters and epidemics, the Youth Union and Youth Union of the Provincial Border Guard have evacuated 65 houses and 258 people to safe places, extinguished 15 forest fires, rescued 125 cases on rivers and seas; collected 85 tons of waste, and planted 30,500 trees to contribute to protecting the ecological environment.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, cadres and union members have been on the front lines, organizing many models worth more than 400 million VND, helping people overcome difficulties; propagandizing and mobilizing more than 126,000 households and 7,400 boats to sign a commitment to prevent and fight the epidemic and illegal entry and exit.

Along with volunteer activities, the youth of the Border Guard of An Giang province also actively participate in protecting sovereignty and security of borders, seas and islands; successfully fighting 30 special projects, handling more than 10,000 cases of law violations related to drugs, smuggling, human trafficking, illegal immigration...
