With messages such as "Humans come in pairs - wild animals come in pairs, do not eat wild animals - contribute to the good of life", Quang Binh youth join hands to "Break the chain of wildlife consumption"... presented in the discussion and media event, the VFBC project has promoted awareness for union members, youth (VV, TN) and relevant parties about wildlife conservation in general, reducing the demand for wildlife products in particular. Thereby, inspiring and calling on young people to join hands to protect wildlife.

In addition, this discussion and media event also aims to respond to the International Day for Biological Diversity (May 22) and the National Biodiversity Restoration Year 2024; increase the participation of authorities at all levels and departments, sectors and localities in protecting wildlife; call on wildlife, youth, people and communities to act together to reduce consumption demand and join hands in conserving wildlife.

Participating in the seminar and media event, delegates were also introduced to the values of natural resources, the pride in biodiversity and natural heritage of Quang Binh province; the current status of biodiversity conservation and consumption of wild animal meat in Vietnam.

From there, raise awareness and take actions to contribute to reducing the demand for consuming products from wildlife, preserving biodiversity... In particular, participating in the speaking contest on the topic of speaking up to protect wildlife, many animals and young people spoke up about protecting the living environment, protecting forests, protecting nature for the future of future generations.

Speaking at the seminar and media event, the representative of the provincial Forest Protection Department shared that young people play an important role in breaking the consumer chain, helping to prevent the current situation of wildlife trafficking. Specifically, young people are the potential consumer chain in the future, and are also the direct force to speak out and take action against illegal wildlife products. Raising awareness about wildlife protection and reducing the demand for wildlife products is very important, especially for today's youth...

Therefore, let's join hands to end wildlife consumption, towards the goal of Quang Binh province saying no to wild animal meat, and Dong Hoi becoming a city without wild animal meat.
