Honoring 10 happy young families in 2024

(Fatherland) - On the evening of October 27, in Hanoi , the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union coordinated with relevant units to organize the "Happy Young Family" commendation ceremony in 2024 with the theme "Together, we are home".

This is an activity within the framework of the "Happy Young Family" program in 2024, implemented from June 28 to September 15. After nearly 3 months, the Organizing Committee received 109 young family profiles introduced by 33 provinces, cities and organizations. Of which, the Organizing Committee selected 10 typical families with all kinds of professions from many provinces and cities to be honored at the program.

The families honored are officials, civil servants, business owners, police, military, reporters, businessmen, farmers , etc. who actively participate in social work and community activities; make efforts and try to overcome difficult circumstances to build a prosperous, harmonious, happy and progressive life; organize labor, production, business and work to achieve productivity and efficiency; and fulfill their role in caring for, protecting and educating their children.

10 young families were honored at the program

Typically, Salim's family (Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Ms. Hoang Kim Ngan) is a famous tiktoker family. Both of them are digital content creators on the social networking platform tiktok, with many contents that are of interest to young people. For this couple, happiness is about listening, connecting, managing expenses, resolving conflicts, expressing emotions, maintaining physical and mental health and finally respecting each person's personal space. A happy family is not only a place to live but also a spiritual refuge, where we can find safety and support to overcome life's challenges together.

Or the family of Mr. Dang Trung Dinh - Ms. Le Thi Vinh in Khanh Hoa province, the owners of Dang Gia Agarwood facility. They have created regular jobs for 30 local youth workers, established a Youth Union at their enterprise. Every year, they also use the facility's social fund to do charity work, give gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties, people in poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households... For them, family happiness is thanks to sympathy, sharing and tolerance.

According to Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, in today's modern life, the development of science and technology as well as the care and desire for a better life. Young families have many different ways of thinking, approaching and understanding cultural values ​​and family traditions. Especially when there is technology, when worrying about food, money, work, young people have new awareness, the interaction between family members is very limited. Sometimes there are people who exchange and interact with each other through the phone, through social networking platforms...

"Therefore, through the program, we hope to spread messages about building happy young families, how to help young people have a correct perception of a family, especially the traditional Vietnamese family. From there, each family can build a sustainable life on the foundation of a happy family..." - Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy said.

Happy young families share at the program

According to Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, in the coming time, the Vietnam Youth Union will continue to promote pre-marital education activities for young people, equipping them with necessary skills to be parents; solving psychological problems among young people; supporting and accompanying young people and young families in establishing themselves, starting a career, doing business, and raising children. Through that, we hope that each young person will be aware of their responsibilities to their family, to their parents, spouses, and children, so that together we can build a prosperous, progressive, and happy family.

After the award ceremony, there was the music night "Words of Love I Want to Say", with the participation of famous artists such as: People's Artist Xuan Bac, Divo Tung Duong, singer Ha Myo, Oplus band, ... attracting a large number of public and people of the Capital. Before that, in the morning of the same day, Happy Young Family Festival also took place with a series of experiential activities and games connecting families, creating meaningful and joyful moments for participants./.
