Ms. Ngo Thi Thuyet, Head of Hue Transport Station, said that trains SE4 and SE2 are temporarily stopped at Hue Station and Huong Thuy Station (Hue City). The reason is that the flood water near Van Xa Station is still high. Specifically, the water level on Van Xa Station line 1 is 230mm, on line 2 is 145mm, and on line 3 is 335mm.

Faced with the above situation, the staff of Thua Thien Hue Railway Exploitation Branch are checking and updating the water level regularly. In case the water does not recede, the unit will have a plan to transfer passengers by car to Dong Ha Station (Quang Tri) and then board the train to Hanoi .
Mr. Trinh Quoc Dung, a passenger on train SE4, shared: "Tomorrow morning I have a business trip in Hanoi, so when I heard the announcement that I had to stop at Huong Thuy Station and now Hue Station, I was very worried, afraid of being late for work. I hope the train will soon be back on the route."

Earlier, at around 2 p.m. the same day, the railway section near Van Xa Station had many high water spots. Trains SE2 and SE4 had to stop at Huong Thuy Station and Hue Station to wait for the train to clear.
