Ms. Nguyen Thi Suong, the school principal, said that from 3 a.m. on October 31, teachers came to the school to clean up, taking advantage of the time when the mud had not yet formed to push it all out. By morning, the basic classrooms had been cleaned, and everyone continued to chase the mud out of the yard.
