Propaganda for the 50th Anniversary of Southern Liberation Day in the Armed Forces

On the afternoon of April 28, the Military Command of An Giang province organized a propaganda event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. Delegates watched the documentary film “The Chosen Path - Episode: National Reunification”, produced by the Army Cinema.

Speaking at the propaganda session, Colonel Nguyen Thuc Linh (Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command) affirmed that with strong messages, broad vision, spirit and responsibility, each officer and soldier of the An Giang armed forces today continues to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, innovation, breakthrough, determination to overcome all difficulties, constantly promote the tradition of the army and heroic units, focus on performing well the role of advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee on local military and defense tasks in the new revolution. Upholding the responsibility of building units, building the Army, building the provincial armed forces "elite, compact, strong", meeting the requirements and tasks of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

On this occasion, authorized bythe President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Provincial Military Command awarded the Fatherland Protection Medal and the Victory Flag Medal to 7 individuals.
