• CHILD-CENTERED
Amidst the cool green space and full of colorful play and experience spaces, Da Teh Kindergarten is the place where 549 students study, including 2 groups of children with 73 children and 16 kindergarten classes with 476 children. In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the school mobilized 254 5-year-old children to go to school, reaching a rate of 100% and maintaining the number of students until the end of the school year. This is also the first school year that teachers and students of Da Teh Kindergarten have been taught and studied in the new school campus after 2 years of renovation and upgrading; the space is spacious and airy; all classrooms are fully equipped with facilities, creating the best conditions for students to study and develop.
Ms. Le Thi Kim Chung - Principal of Da Teh Kindergarten said that in order to effectively implement child-centerededucational activities, in recent years, the school has always focused on organizing and building a classroom environment that is scientific, diverse and rich. Adjusting the content, methods and forms of teaching and learning flexibly, ensuring suitability to the children, actual time and teaching conditions of the school.
In addition to effectively using the facilities, equipment, and toys provided, teachers in the school also focus on building a clean, diverse, and rich classroom environment, creating conditions for children to explore and experience. Each hallway and classroom is decorated with items made by teachers and students from natural materials such as bamboo, rattan, scraps of fabric, gravel, dry leaves, local vegetables, tubers, and fruits, and woven products. From there, children are encouraged to be proactive, creative, and create aesthetically pleasing products. At the same time, it helps them develop their language, behavior, and positive attitudes towards the products they create.
With the motto "Learning by playing, playing by learning", during the school year, the school organized 30 short-term and medium-term projects. In particular, a variety of experiential activities associated with important local and national holidays and festivals such as: "Humanitarian Tet"; "Assumption Primary School" model; reenacting the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day... are regularly organized to help students learn a lot of useful knowledge through lively and interesting forms. "With a child-centered educational method, we always try to let students regularly experience new things happening around them. Focus on promoting the individual talents of each child, absolutely not imposing. From there, it helps them to be agile, confident, and have self-service skills. At the same time, these will also be wonderful and memorable experiences in their childhood", Ms. Le Thi Kim Chung shared.
• PROMOTE COMPETITION MOVEMENTS
According to Principal Le Thi Kim Chung, in order to fulfill the duties of each teacher in the school, the Party Cell of Da Teh Kindergarten has applied the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style into practice in the care and education of children and considered this as one of the criteria for year-end emulation evaluation. In addition, the Movement to build "Friendly School, Active Students" ensures both breadth and depth associated with the implementation of the code of conduct in kindergartens.
Along with that, the School has promoted the emulation movement "Each teacher is an example of self-study and creativity". Building a happy kindergarten, treating all children fairly; building activities as well as building a friendly, close environment so that children love to go to school, regularly changing the environment to create new things for children to explore. The school builds school rules and regulations, focusing on issues of responsibility and love of teachers towards children. Students are loved and cared for according to the right standards, ensuring both physical and mental safety, and are given conditions to develop personal abilities. Teachers in the school also pay attention to children in difficult circumstances, children lacking in life to bond and share.
With efforts and innovations, in the 2024 - 2025 school year, Da Teh Kindergarten has completed the set targets. At the same time, it has achieved many achievements such as: winning the Second Prize in the District-level Traffic Safety Contest for Children; winning the Second Prize in the Green, Clean, Beautiful and Safe Agency Building Contest; 10 teachers won the title of Excellent Teacher at the district level; 2 teachers won the title of Excellent Teacher at the provincial level. Da Teh Kindergarten has achieved excellent results in training excellent teachers... The trust and support of parents with the school is increasingly strengthened.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuyen - a teacher who has been with Da Teh Kindergarten since its establishment until now with 37 years of work, expressed: "In the early days, there were many difficulties when there were few teachers and lacked facilities; or until now when the school is more and more spacious and complete, kindergarten teachers like us still always keep our love for the profession and children to do our job well". From the love that is poured into each class like Ms. Xuyen and the teachers of Da Teh Kindergarten, many generations of kindergarteners in the southern land of Lam Dong have learned and carried with them the first letters, poems, and songs to start realizing their dreams in life.
