Foreign exchange rate on July 17, 2025: USD increased slightly

DNVN - Compared to early yesterday morning, the exchange rate between Vietnamese Dong (VND) and US Dollar (USD) at the domestic banking system had a slight increase on the morning of July 17.

The central exchange rate announced by the State Bank is currently at 25,176 VND/USD, 8 VND higher than the morning session on July 16. With a fluctuation range of ±5% applied, the ceiling exchange rate for the day is determined to be 26,435 VND/USD, while the floor is 23,917 VND/USD. The reference exchange rate at the State Bank's Transaction Office is at 23,960 - 26,376 VND/USD (buy - sell).

As of 8:15 this morning, Vietcombank and BIDV simultaneously adjusted the USD exchange rate up by 20 VND in both buying and selling directions, with the current listed rate being 25,980 - 26,340 VND/USD (buying - selling).

The Chinese Yuan (CNY) exchange rate at Vietcombank remains unchanged from yesterday morning, at 3,587 - 3,702 VND/CNY (buy - sell). Meanwhile, BIDV slightly reduced the CNY exchange rate by 1 VND, bringing the price down to 3,595 - 3,693 VND/CNY (buy - sell).
