The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to vote for prestigious people to honor in the second "Village Support" Program.

On December 20, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Council for Selection of Prestigious People (NCUT) to honor in the Second "Village Support" Program (abbreviated as the program). The program was jointly implemented by the Border Guard Command, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Communist Magazine.

Based on the criteria, standards and allocated numbers from the Program Organizing Committee, at the meeting, the Council members agreed to propose 2 NCUTs to be honored at the program, including: Mr. Chau Van Binh, NCUT of Thanh Tin village, Phuoc Hai commune and Ms. Kieu Thi Khue, Secretary of the village Party cell, NCUT of Tuan Tu village, An Hai commune (Ninh Phuoc). These are individuals with outstanding achievements in local economic development; preserving, conserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic minority areas; "Skillful mass mobilization" of ethnic people in coastal border areas to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws... The program is expected to be held in 2024.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the agencies and units under the Council to complete all processes, documents and procedures of the 2 NCUTs and send them to the program's Organizing Committee before December 31.
