The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 01402/QD-UBND dated September 23 on awarding a Certificate of Merit to Thach Chi Khang, a student at Tran Quoc Tuan Primary School, for

Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee decided to award a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to Thach Chi Khang (5th grade student, Tran Quoc Tuan Primary School) and a bonus according to regulations.

Mr. Tran Xuan Ky, Principal of Tran Quoc Tuan Primary School, awarded Thach Chi Khang.

Previously, as reported, on September 13, in Thanh Nhat ward, a massacre occurred, killing 3 people. Nguyen Nam Dai Thuan (born in 1988, residing in Ea Kao ward) went to his wife's house, Nguyen Thi Kim H. (born in 1992, residing in Thanh Nhat) and stabbed and slashed family members indiscriminately. H.'s son, Tran Tan P. (born in 2012), climbed over the back wall of the house to Thach Chi Khang's house to ask for help. Khang opened the door so P. could escape into the house in time; he resolutely refused to open the door when the murderer threatened him.
