Earlier, on May 13, it was reported that Ukrainian special forces destroyed a modern $45 million Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system and a Russian Uragan-1 multiple launch rocket system.

According to Pravda, the Buk-M3 is one of the main components of the Russian air defense system, commonly used to target air, land and sea targets.

"While performing a special reconnaissance mission in one of the areas of operations on May 12, Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) soldiers detected Buk-M3 and Uragan-1 systems engaged in combat. After quick preparations, Ukrainian soldiers launched the UAV and accurately aimed at the target. The Buk-M3 system, estimated to be worth $45 million from Russia, and its ammunition were completely destroyed," SOF said.

However, the Russian Ministry of Defense has not commented on this information.
