The Hanoi Medical University's Council of Professors in 2025 publicly announced the results of the review and recognition of meeting the standards for the title of professor and associate professor. This list includes 26 candidates who are lecturers of Hanoi Medical University and lecturers who registered to teach as guest lecturers from a number of other units in the health sector.
Specifically, the list of professor candidates includes 4 people, the oldest is 62 (born in 1963), the youngest is 55 (born in 1970).

There are 22 candidates for associate professor, including 9 candidates from the 8X generation. The youngest candidate is Nguyen Ngoc Tam, born in 1987, majoring in Geriatrics, Department of Geriatrics, Hanoi Medical University.

Other 8X candidates include: Nguyen Thai Binh (born 1983), majoring in Medical Imaging; Vu Quoc Dat (born 1984), majoring in Infectious Diseases; Le Ha Long Hai (born 1984), majoring in Medical Engineering; Nguyen Hoang (born 1980), majoring in Gastroenterology; Tran Thi Huyen (born 1986), majoring in Dermatology; Nguyen Duc Lien (born 1983), majoring in Neurosurgery - Craniofacial; Tran Que Son (born 1984), majoring in Gastroenterology; Pham Hoai Thu (born 1983), majoring in Internal Medicine.
According to the plan, after the basic review round, the list of candidates will be reviewed by the Faculty Council of the industry and interdisciplinary from August 29 to September 26.
From October 20 to October 31, the State Council of Professors met to consider recognition of meeting the standards for the titles of professor and associate professor in 2025.
