The staged video in the post also included a photo of what was said to be an IOC spokesperson. The post claimed that "Los Angeles is too dangerous to host people from all over the world " and said that the IOC was considering safer cities such as Tulsa (Oklahoma, USA) or St. Louis (Missouri, USA).

However, after verification, Lead Stories page on June 19 confirmed that there was no information about a vote as rumored.

Lead Stories also searched for articles with the keywords “Olympic Committee” and “vote on moving the 2028 Games,” but found no relevant results across thousands of sites on Google News. Additionally, the “spokesperson” in the video is not actually an IOC spokesperson.

In short, Lead Stories experts confirm that the above rumor is completely fabricated. There is no information about the Olympic Committee voting to change the location of the 2028 Olympics.
