The beauty of Vietnamese women shines on the international stage through the hands of Gen Z designers

Designer Phan Dang Hoang has just officially launched the Ceramics Collection at Milano Fashion Week 2025. This is one of the four prestigious fashion weeks in the world with the participation of leading brands and fashion houses.

As the only Vietnamese participating in the new collection show here, the designer born in 2000 was proud to have his "debut" at the Royal Palace of Milan (Palazzo Reale Milano) - a historical location in Italy.

The show featured many famous people from home and abroad such as: Chau Bui, Quynh Anh Shyn, Larissa Minatto, Carmelo Corvaia...

Phan Dang Hoang said that this collection is a combination of two sources of inspiration: silk paintings by famous painter Nguyen Phan Chanh and ceramic sculptures, thereby recreating the gentle, graceful features and strong, individual style of Vietnamese women a hundred years ago.

Each outfit is given a soul, has its own life, and becomes a bridge connecting art and life. Gen Z designers say that the journey of creating fashion always requires reflection. Therefore, between collections, there is always consistency not only in inspiration but also in the characteristics of shape and structure.

The details of the scarf and cuts on the soft silk material also match the spirit of the works of famous painter Nguyen Phan Chanh: both classic and traditional, yet innovative and modern.

The designer applies techniques such as attaching, knitting, dyeing, embroidery, pleating... and materials such as chiffon, organza, silk, lace, denim, leather, linen...

Mastering the art of using colors skillfully by painter Nguyen Phan Chanh, the Gen Z designer has harmoniously combined brown, black, eggshell white, orange, betel nut red, olive green... to create a picture of Vietnam, simple and rustic but with hidden extraordinary inner strength.

The Vietnamese women in Phan Dang Hoang's collection are the embodiment of a subtle blend of tradition and modernity, with a unique, liberal, and creative spirit.

Phan Dang Hoang said he wanted to convey the message about the harmony between the beauty and virtues of ancient women and the strong desire to rise of modern women to international friends.

In the near future, the designer born in 2000 will continue to focus on applied designs, imbued with a futuristic spirit, harmonizing traditional values ​​with the breath of the times.
