Venezuelan Deputy Minister of Culture Ali Alejandro Primera on May 1 (local time) affirmed that he will personally perform famous songs praising President Ho Chi Minh in the art program "Forever Ho Chi Minh" to celebrate the 135th anniversary of his birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), as a tribute from the Venezuelan people to the great leader of the world revolutionary movement.

According to a VNA correspondent reporting from Latin America, speaking at a working session at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela, Deputy Minister Ali Alejandro Primera said the Venezuelan Government has directed relevant departments to closely coordinate with the Vietnamese Embassy to complete the final preparations for the art program “Forever Ho Chi Minh ,” scheduled to be held at the Bolivar Theater in Caracas on May 21.

Sending the warmest congratulations to the heroic Vietnamese people on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Venezuelan Deputy Minister of Culture affirmed that the victory of the Vietnamese people is also the victory of the Venezuelan people.

He affirmed that the Venezuelan people always consider Ho Chi Minh as the common revolutionary leader of humanity.

Deputy Minister Ali Alejandro Primera, who is also a famous Venezuelan musician, shared that he always has special feelings and admiration for Vietnam and the great President Ho Chi Minh.

Since childhood, songs praising Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh composed and performed by his grandfather - Venezuelan revolutionary and people's artist, Ali Primera - have deeply penetrated his soul.

Although he has not had the opportunity to visit Vietnam, through the songs composed by the late People's Artist Ali Primera such as "Forever Ho Chi Minh" (Inolvidable Ho Chi Minh), "Portrait of Ho Chi Minh" (La figura de Ho Chi Minh) and "Vietnamese Woman" (La Mujer de Vietnam) , he can imagine a country, a resilient people, as well as Uncle Ho - a shining example of patriotism, altruism and charity, who devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation, national reunification and freedom and happiness of the Vietnamese people.

Referring to the art program “Forever Ho Chi Minh,” Deputy Minister Ali Alejandro Primera said the program attracted the participation of many famous singers and the Venezuelan National Symphony Orchestra.

In particular, he and Venezuelan artists will perform historical songs praising President Ho Chi Minh by the late musician Ali Primera as well as some typical works by musicians around the world such as "The Right to Live in Peace " by Chilean musician Victor Jara, " The Ballad of Ho Chi Minh" by British musician Ewan MacColl - translated into Spanish by the late Chilean musician Rolando Alarcon...
