Recently, Miss Thu Hoai officially confirmed her divorce from her 10-year-younger husband - businessman Tong Nhat Tri.

Miss Thu Hoai broke up with businessman Tong Tri after 7 years together.

According to the 2012 Miss Vietnamese Global in the US, nearly a year ago, she and her "better half" broke up after more than 7 years together due to conflicts in life. Currently, the beauty queen feels it is appropriate to make the information public.

"Before, I kept it a secret because I was afraid of people looking at me as a woman who failed in love and marriage. I still have work, relationships and need to maintain my image. Now, I think I can't avoid the fact that my marriage is over," Thu Hoai said.

Thu Hoai confided that the reason she decided to make the breakup public was to free both of them from the past. From then on, Tong Tri could get to know other people as a free man, not being embarrassed by the past.

"I hope Tri will have a good life, be successful and have new joys. I sincerely wish him happiness and joy. I will do the same," she expressed.

According to Miss Vietnam Global 2012, she did not want to talk about right and wrong in the breakup, but simply thought that it was because both of them made the wrong choice when they met. However, she apologized to her ex-husband for the arguments and conflicts that occurred in their lives.

Miss Thu Hoai and businessman Tong Nhat Tri have been dating since September 2015 but have kept their relationship a secret for a long time. The beauty queen admitted that she was hesitant to make their relationship public because of the age difference between the two.

Even during the early days of dating, she was shy about holding hands or hugging her boyfriend in public. At the end of 2019, Thu Hoai revealed that her younger boyfriend proposed to her during a trip to the US.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, Thu Hoai - Tri Tong and their children often went on vacation, celebrating memorable milestones in special locations.

Over time, the relationship between Tri Tong and Thu Hoai became closer. There were times when the beauty queen bragged about how much her three children loved and were attached to their mother’s new husband.

On December 24, 2019, while the whole family was touring Napa Valley in California, the Vietnamese-American businessman suddenly knelt down and proposed to Thu Hoai. She did not understand what was happening so she was surprised and burst into tears.

That memorable moment was recorded by Thu Hoai's children with the help of Tri Tong. Before that, they discussed together to give Thu Hoai a special memory.

On Christmas 2019, Tri Tong proposed to Thu Hoai in the US. He quietly prepared a filming crew, asked his children for support, and invited 20 friends to witness their heart-breaking moment.

The beauty queen planned to get married in 2021, but because of Covid-19, she chose to register her marriage in the US and wait until the pandemic is over to hold the party.

At that time, the beauty queen shared: "I am very happy. It seems like every new bride is like that! The marriage registration is not just a procedure. It helps the relationship between me and Mr. Tri turn to another page.

It is a relationship of commitment, responsibility and love between husband and wife. We are happy to realize that after the wedding, we belong to each other in the most complete way."

Miss Thu Hoai was born in 1976 and won the title of Miss Vietnamese Global Wife in 2012 in the US.

Before Tri Tong, Thu Hoai lived with three men as husband and wife for 1 year, 4 years and 18 years respectively.

Breaking up with the third person because of betrayal and abuse made her not open up for a long time. Tri Tong was the first person she registered her marriage with, establishing a legal marital relationship.
