In 2026, Vietnam will officially become the first destination in Southeast Asia for the International Pathway Series (IPS) - a tournament system recognized globally by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), aiming to discover and train young golf talents.

The Trang An - AJGA International Pathway Tournament taking place at Trang An Golf & Resort from January 22 - 25, 2026 is not only an international playground, but also opens up opportunities for Vietnamese golfers to score points on the Rolex AJGA rankings and access NCAA scholarships worth from 20,000 - 60,000 USD/year, the total value of NCAA scholarships for young golfers is up to 1.2 billion USD/year.

Trang An Golf & Resort has 27 holes of Par 72 standard, with terrain winding around mountains, natural lakes and technically challenging bunkers. This is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Southeast Asia, helping athletes to both test their techniques and practice their competition strategies.

Trang An area is also recognized by UNESCO as a world natural heritage, globally famous for its majestic landscape, and was the setting for the movie King Kong (2005), creating unique experience value for international athletes and coaches.

One of the important advantages that helped AJGA choose Vietnam was the convenience of travel and reasonable costs. The organizers provided shuttle buses from the golf course to the hotel, the hotel cost was about 50 - 70 USD/room/night, the caddie tip was only 20 USD, much cheaper than the cost in the US (caddie about 100 - 150 USD/match). This helped families and support teams save thousands of USD for each tournament.

The tournament is expected to attract more than 20 NCAA coaches to directly monitor and evaluate the skills and performance of young athletes. This is an opportunity for Vietnamese golfers such as Nguyen Anh Minh, Doan Uy, Le Chuc An - who have gradually asserted themselves at NCAA - to inspire the next generation, accumulate international ranking points without having to go abroad, reducing travel expenses by tens of thousands of dollars each year.

In addition to competition, IPS at Trang An also has educational activities: instructions on how to score on the AJGA rankings, prepare scholarship applications, manage competition pressure and professional competition strategies. These skills are important for young Vietnamese golfers to prepare for the academic and competitive environment in the US.

With a classy golf course, unique landscape, optimal facilities and reasonable costs, Trang An is not only a playing field but also a launching pad for young Vietnamese talents, helping them record international achievements, access NCAA scholarships and take the first step on their journey to reach the world.
