With this result, the Vietnamese team is among the top 10 countries with the highest total score, contributing to continuing the series of excellent achievements at the international Olympics in 2025 and recent years. The Ministry of Education and Training affirmed that the achievements at this year's exam continue to demonstrate the quality of general education, along with the right orientation in discovering and nurturing gifted students and integrating training programs and assessments according to international standards.
The 2025 International Biology Olympiad will have the participation of 81 delegations from countries and territories with 298 contestants. The exam content includes two theoretical exams, four practical exams lasting 12 consecutive hours, with topics on biomedicine, molecular biology, ecology - systematics and microbiology, requiring integrated knowledge of Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry - Biology - Environment and in-depth practical skills. This is one of the most prestigious and comprehensive natural science exams for high school students in the world.
