The objective of the Project "Making English the Second Language in Schools in the period 2025 - 2035, with a vision to 2045," which the Prime Minister has just approved, is for English to be widely, frequently, and effectively used in teaching, communication, management, and educational activities in schools, forming an English-speaking ecosystem in educational institutions from level 1 to level 3.

In this new context, the teaching staff cannot afford to stop striving for learning and training.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, by 2030, approximately 12,000 additional preschool English teachers and nearly 10,000 primary school English teachers will need to be recruited, and at least 200,000 teachers will be trained to teach in English in order to implement the strategy of making English the second language in schools.
With the explosion of AI tools, teachers now face a difficult challenge: How to ensure students use AI correctly – that is, to learn, not to skip classes?
By presenting these current events, we want to raise a practical issue today: teachers always need to constantly strive for continuous learning. And standing at the lectern doesn't mean stopping learning, especially in foreign languages and technology. So how can teachers effectively learn foreign languages and technology?
The guests discussed the topics of AI and English as a second language in schools.
At 2:30 PM on October 31st, Thanh Nien Newspaper will hold an online consultation on the topic "In the era of AI and integration, what do teachers need to prepare for?".
