Of the 11 injured, three were seriously injured while the remaining eight suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital, Yonhap said.
The fire started on the eighth floor of a nine-story hotel in Bucheon, south of the capital Seoul, at around 7:40 p.m. Thursday, according to the Gyeonggi Provincial Fire Agency.

A total of 46 fire engines and 150 firefighters were dispatched to the scene. A fire official said the death toll could rise as firefighters continued to rescue tourists.
Some people died after jumping out of a room above the fire, while others were injured after jumping out of a window onto an air mattress, Yonhap reported.
Yonhap quoted a Bucheon city official as saying that casualties were also found in the hotel's stairs and hallways.
South Korean Interior Minister Lee Sang-min has called for all-out efforts to extinguish the fire and rescue people.
Firefighters extinguished most of the fire by 10:14 p.m. The fire did not spread, but it created smoke that caused multiple casualties, authorities said. The hotel has 64 rooms and an estimated 27 guests were in the building when the fire broke out.
"Rescue work is still continuing in the hotel rooms," a police officer said. "Only after completely extinguishing the fire and searching inside can we determine the exact extent of the casualties."
