Vietnam won gold medal at Asian Athletics Championships

On the afternoon of July 16, athletes Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Hoang Thi Minh Hanh, Nguyen Thi Huyen and Nguyen Thi Hang excellently won the Gold medal for Vietnamese Athletics in the Women's 4x400m Relay event on the final competition day of the 2023 Asian Athletics Championships.

Nguyen Thi Huyen's strong breakthrough in the third run helped the Vietnamese Athletics Team make a miracle with a time of 3 minutes 32 seconds 36, while the Sri Lankan team ranked second with a time of 3 minutes 33 seconds 27, and India ranked third with a time of 3 minutes 33 seconds 73.

These four female athletes are also the owners of the 4x400m Gold medal at the 32nd SEA Games with a time of 3 minutes 33 seconds 05.

Thus, after four days of competition, the Vietnamese Athletics Team won one Gold medal and one Bronze medal. The Bronze medal was won by athlete Nguyen Thi Huong in the women's triple jump event.

The 2023 Asian Athletics Championships will take place from July 12-16 at Suphachalasai Stadium in Thailand with more than 40 countries participating. The tournament will be considered for qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics./.
