(BDO) For the first time, the Vietnam Veterans' Team (CCT) participated in the 15th World Veterans' Football Tournament. This year's tournament brought together many strong CCT teams such as England, Australia, New Zealand and Iran.
The organizers of the 15th FIFA World Cup have drawn lots to divide the eight teams participating in this year's tournament into groups. Accordingly, CCT Vietnam is in the same group with Australia, Taiwan and Iran. In the remaining group, there are hosts Thailand, England, Indonesia and New Zealand.

The Vietnamese CCT team, in its first participation, had the participation of former famous players such as: Tuan Manh (Da Nang), Doan Hoang Son (Dong Thap), Pham Hoang Duc, Cong Quoc (Khanh Hoa), Hai Thinh (HCMC), Hong Chuong (Binh Thuan), Van Teo (An Giang). It was quite regrettable that Binh Duong CCT could not participate this time due to work.
CCT Vietnam is ready for the first match of the 2023 season against Australia.
According to the schedule, CCT Vietnam will face Australia (5-6), Taiwan (6-6) and Iran (7-6). Yesterday (4-6), the team arrived in Thailand and had a friendly match with Healthy Corner and won with a score of 4-2.
On the afternoon of June 5, at 6:00 p.m., the Vietnamese CCT team will have its first match against CCT Australia at Pathum Thani Stadium.
