Vietnam condemns terrorist attack in Moscow

Regarding the terrorist attack at Crocus shopping mall, Moscow, Russia on the evening of March 22, Vietnam sends its deepest condolences to the Government and people of Russia and the families of the victims; at the same time, strongly condemns terrorist attacks in all forms.
On March 23, regarding the terrorist attack at the Crocus shopping center in Moscow, Russia on the evening of March 22, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Pham Thu Hang stated: "We were extremely shocked to receive information about this brutal terrorist attack and would like to send our deepest condolences to the Russian Government, people and families of the victims."

The spokesperson affirmed that Vietnam strongly condemns terrorist attacks in all forms and firmly believes that the perpetrators will be punished appropriately. According to the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, so far, no Vietnamese citizens have been recorded as victims in the incident. Following the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy is urgently coordinating closely with local authorities to closely monitor the situation and be ready to take necessary protective measures in case Vietnamese citizens are in trouble. On the same day, upon hearing the news of the terrorist attack at the Crocus shopping center in Moscow, Russia on the evening of March 22 (local time) that killed and injured many people, ActingPresident Vo Thi Anh Xuan sent a message of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, France, Italy, Germany and several other countries strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Moscow.
