Vietnam always considers gender equality as the foundation of social progress.

The conference on October 31 marked 30 years of implementing the Beijing Declaration, demonstrating Vietnam's commitment to gender equality and women's rights.

On October 31, the Ministry of Home Affairs chaired and coordinated with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) in Vietnam to organize a conference to announce the National Report on 30 years of implementing the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action in Vietnam.

This event marks an important milestone in the three-decade journey of efforts for gender equality and women's empowerment, clearly demonstrating Vietnam's consistent political commitment to the United Nations' sustainable development goals./.
