The month of action for gender equality and prevention and response to violence takes place from November 15 to December 15.

DNO - The City People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 127/KH-UBND dated October 20, 2025 on implementing the Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in 2025.

The action month with the theme “Gender equality and safety for women and girls in the digital age” takes place from November 15 to December 15 with many activities.

In particular, focusing on propagating the themes, messages and activities of the action month in conjunction with promoting propaganda and dissemination of the Law on Gender Equality, decrees and documents of the Central and City Government related to gender equality work in the period 2021-2030.

Strengthen communication about the theme and message of the action month on mass media in many forms, suitable for each target group and actual situation.

In addition, digitalization in communication through social networks is needed to strongly spread messages on gender equality and protect the safety of women and girls in cyberspace; and release communication products aimed at audiences of different ages to increase visibility in communication work.

At the same time, organize forums, dialogues, seminars, and competitions on the topics of gender equality and women's safety in the digital space; support victims, and give gifts to women and children in difficult circumstances.

Commendation of outstanding collectives and individuals in gender equality work, prevention and response to violence against women and children.

Communicate and promote the National Child Protection Hotline (number 111) so that all people and children can contact for free when they need advice, consultation, support, and intervention when they are victims of violence or abuse.

Strengthening prevention, detection, containment and timely handling of cases of violence and abuse against women and children.
