VietinBank donates funds to support child cancer patients.

On the afternoon of May 29, 2024, at the National Children's Hospital, VietinBank donated 2 billion VND to child cancer patients undergoing treatment at the hospital through the Hope Fund.

Over the years, VietinBank has partnered with and dedicated significant resources to the National Children's Hospital in fulfilling its social responsibility. Specifically, VietinBank has contributed over 50 billion VND to support the hospital in building housing for patients' families, purchasing modern medical equipment, and ambulances. Notably, for over 13 years, VietinBank has implemented the "Soup of Love" program at the hospital, providing free, nutritious porridge daily to underprivileged children with cancer. On May 29, 2024, through the Hope Fund, VietinBank donated 2 billion VND to further support children with cancer undergoing treatment at the hospital. With this support, VietinBank hopes to help these children receive earlier and more effective treatment.

Alongside its successful business operations, VietinBank has always been a pioneer in social welfare activities, poverty alleviation, and showing gratitude and remembrance of its roots throughout the country. In the healthcare sector, VietinBank has undertaken numerous activities to support, accompany, and share the difficulties in equipping medical facilities, caring for patients' health, and assisting patients at healthcare facilities from the central to local levels. As of May 2024, VietinBank had supported over VND 1,800 billion to build and upgrade hundreds of medical facilities, donated 345 ambulances and specialized medical vehicles, and provided modern medical equipment to support medical examinations, treatment, and heart surgery for patients and children in difficult circumstances. Particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, VietinBank donated over VND 200 billion to support the Government, the Ministry of Health , and localities in the fight against the pandemic.
