After a long journey starting from May 1, 2023, through a comprehensive survey of the information disclosure activities of 731 listed companies over a 12-month period, combined with an assessment of IR activities through a scoring system from 33 leading financial institutions, as well as the collective voting of the investor community, VietinBank was honored in the category of “ Top 3 Large-Cap Listed Companies with the Most Preferred IR Activities by Investors ”. Prior to this, VietinBank was also voted “ Listed Company Meeting Information Disclosure Standards on the Stock Market in 2023 ”.
The voting process attracted significant investor interest, based on three main evaluation criteria: (i) Effective financial communication; (ii) Good reputation in the capital market; and (iii) Good management of stock market expectations.
The judging panel comprises 33 financial institutions, including leading fund management companies and securities firms in the market (MB Capital, VCBF, HSC, VNDirect, SSI, KB Securities, KIS, VietinBank Securities, etc.), to ensure the independent and objective evaluation process of the IR Awards. Over 12 years of organization, the IR Awards have built a strong reputation in the market for their popularity, scale, and prestige.
As a listed company with a large number of shareholders, VietinBank always prioritizes building and developing strong and positive relationships with investors. Over the years, acting as a bridge between VietinBank and the investor community, its investor relations (IR) activities have been actively implemented based on three criteria: C: Comprehensive , T: Timely, and G: Genuine (abbreviated as CTG).
With the goal of ensuring timely and up-to-date information for shareholders and investors, VietinBank always complies with its information disclosure obligations as stipulated by law; for many years, it has been selected as a listed company meeting information disclosure standards on the stock market in the program to select listed companies with the best IR activities, jointly organized by Vietstock, VAFE Association, and FiLi Magazine.
For VietinBank, investor relations (IR) is geared towards all investors, regardless of size, whether individual or institutional. Every investor and shareholder has the right to access the bank's official information sources. VietinBank always complies with the law and ensures fairness and timeliness in providing information to both existing and potential investors.
The bank proactively increases the frequency, diversifies the forms, and improves the quality of information dissemination, thereby increasing shareholder and investor confidence in VietinBank. In addition to holding regular/extraordinary general meetings as required, VietinBank also periodically organizes quarterly business performance update conferences and regularly exchanges business performance information with investors/shareholders in flexible online/in-person formats to enhance the effectiveness of information communication.
VietinBank's disclosure documents ( annual reports, financial statements, management reports, shareholder meeting documents , etc.) as well as updated business performance documents ( Financial Statement News, Quarterly Business Performance Updates, etc. ) are bilingual in Vietnamese and English and are continuously updated in both content and design. VietinBank's investor materials are highly regarded for their accuracy, meticulousness, detail, and objectivity, providing timely and necessary information to support investors in making investment decisions.
In particular, VietinBank's IR team regularly consults with major domestic and international banks, as well as its strategic partner and major shareholder, MUFG Bank, to implement IR activities that are close to international practices and standards. In addition, VietinBank's IR team periodically conducts investor surveys to gather market feedback and improve the effectiveness of IR operations, best meeting investor expectations.
In the coming period, VietinBank will continue to improve and professionalize its investor relations (IR) activities by strengthening training and development of its IR personnel; building and implementing a transparent and proactive communication strategy. The IR Awards are an annual award organized by Vietstock, the Vietnam Association of Financial Managers (VAFE), and the online magazine Finance and Life (FILI) since 2011 to recognize and honor listed companies with the best Investor Relations (IR) activities of the year.
