On April 22, Saigon Technology University (STU) in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City and TIM Corp organized the program "Vietnam - Italy Foodtech Day 2025", gathering a large number of experts, lecturers, students and businesses in the food industry.
This year's event was held right on the STU campus, marking an important development in the connection between the school, businesses and international organizations, and demonstrating STU's strategic orientation in applying knowledge into production practices and innovation.
"Vietnam – Italy Foodtech Day 2025" is not only an opportunity to introduce modern production technologies from Europe but also an academic forum where generations – from students, lecturers to managers and experts – come together to share knowledge, experience and development trends in the field of food technology and F&B.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Ngo Thi Thu Thuy - President of the Council of Saigon Technology University, shared: We are always wondering how to make knowledge not only stay in the classroom but actually enter life, becoming a solid luggage for students. Today's event is a step to realize that, opening up opportunities for students to access European technology, meet international experts and determine their role in the food industry value chain. This is also the first step in the plan to build a 'Startup University' model at STU.

The exchange activities here have created a multicultural, academic and professional space – demonstrating the spirit of integration and global cooperation in the field of training and applied research.
