VinBigdata launches the first Vietnamese version of 'ChatGPT' for end users

ViGPT community version is a "Vietnamese version of ChatGPT" for end users. The version possesses a large amount of knowledge, with the ability to create content, search, synthesize, extract information, and answer common questions.

The difference and outstanding advantage of ViGPT compared to other launched applications is that the information focuses on specific fields of Vietnam such as law, history, culture, famous people, scenic spots, regional characteristics...

At the same time, VinBigdata also launched another version specifically for businesses with a deep industry knowledge system integrated in the VinBase 2.0 multi-cognitive artificial intelligence platform.

The version will contribute to changing operating habits and improving business efficiency, marketing, customer service, and risk management. This is also the technology that paves the way for the birth of VinBigdata's ecosystem of integrated AI solutions called ViChat, ViVoice, and ViVi Virtual Assistant.

Prof. Vu Ha Van, Director of Science at VinBigdata, announced the launch of ViGPT.

With mastery from the deepest core model layers to end-user application development of VinBigdata, ViGPT owns more than 600GB of refined Vietnamese data taken from many fields.

Currently, VinBigdata is also applying the above technology in recently launched products such as legal virtual assistants for citizens of state agencies and the upcoming product is the ViVi virtual assistant integrated with AI to create on VinFast electric vehicles.

In the future, ViGPT will be integrated into a number of products in many different fields such as transportation, banking, finance, insurance, etc. Advanced technology will support users to search and synthesize information faster and simpler than before.

Sharing about the birth of ViGPT, Prof. Vu Ha Van (Science Director of VinBigdata) said: “ The launch of a “Vietnamese version of ChatGPT” marks Vietnam’s ability to master technology. Even more, through mastering technology, we can autonomously exploit and protect national data security, along with a knowledge system and ideology that bears Vietnamese identity.

This direction will allow us not only to eliminate dependence on international products, but also to gradually improve the accuracy of information containing Vietnamese historical and cultural values and reduce the flow of data abroad .

Mastering technology and self-developing and launching the first Vietnamese version of "ChatGPT" for end users is considered a step forward to help VinBigdata bring generative AI technology into the ecosystem of products and services on the market.

The community version of ViGPT will be open to the first 1,000 users for 15 days from December 27, 2023 to January 10, 2024, after which it will be refined and provided free of charge to non-profit organizations in need. Users can directly access the application and easily interact with ViGPT in Vietnamese on the web interface, similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT.
