The car's technological highlights are the 1,500 W in-hub motor (maximum 1,800 W), 1.2 kWh LFP battery with an additional battery tray that allows for an additional 2.4 kWh battery. According to the manufacturer, the dual-battery configuration provides a maximum range of up to 198 km/charge under optimal conditions. Currently, VinFast is offering a 10% discount and 100% support for registration fees; buyers pay from VND 15.84 million for the car, the additional battery costs VND 5 million.

Classic scooter design language, VinFast identity

Evo Grand Lite follows the classic European scooter shape with round headlights, round mirrors and a flared rear body. The soft rounded panels help the shape to be more compact, while the VinFast identification details are still clearly present in the lighting graphics and body design. The car has two driving modes ECO and SPORT switched by the knob on the right. The manufacturer announced that the Evo Grand Lite can climb slopes up to 20 degrees at a speed of 4-5 km/h, enough to confidently handle common urban overpasses of about 5 degrees. The maximum speed is 48 km/h - suitable for the speed limit in the city and does not require a driver's license, as long as the driver is 16 years or older.

LFP battery and range: 70 km, extendable to 198 km

The standard configuration uses a 1.2 kWh LFP battery for a distance of up to 70 km/charge under optimal conditions (one person, maintained speed of 30 km/h). The additional battery tray allows for the installation of an additional 2.4 kWh LFP battery; according to VinFast, the total distance can reach a maximum of 198 km/charge. The LFP battery comes with an 8-year warranty, unlimited kilometers, and is highly rated for its stability and thermal safety – important factors in hot climates.

Safety and chassis: double suspension, front disc brakes

In the popular price range, the Evo Grand Lite's chassis is fully equipped: telescopic front shock absorbers, double spring rear shock absorbers for better shock absorption than the single rear shock absorber configuration commonly found in some cheap scooters. Front disc brakes combined with rear drum brakes are suitable for the maximum speed of 48 km/h of the vehicle. All LED lights contribute to increasing lighting efficiency and longevity.
