VinFast VF 7 C-size electric car launched in Vietnam market

VinFast 's new electric car model was first introduced to Vietnamese customers, with two versions sold, equipped with a 75.3 kWh battery pack, and an operating range of 431-450 km.

On July 7, VinFast launched VF 7 at an exhibition organized by the company at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, Hanoi . VF 7 is an electric vehicle, VinFast positions it in the C-class high-chassis vehicle segment. This is also the first time VF 7 has been launched to Vietnamese customers. Previously, the Vietnamese car company introduced VF 7 at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2022 in the US.

After its launch, VF 7 will compete with Honda CR-V , Mazda CX-5 , Hyundai Tucson ... In addition to VF 7, at the exhibition event, VinFast also introduced VF 3, VF 6 and the company's first electric bicycle model.

VF 7 has dimensions of length, width, height (mm) respectively 4,545 x 1,890 x 1,636. This dimension is shorter and lower than its competitors, while the width is slightly larger, specifically CR-V (4,623 x 1,855 x 1,679 mm), Tucson (4,630 x 1,865 x 1,695 mm), CX-5 (4,550 x 1,840 x 1,680 mm).

The wheelbase of VF 7 is 2,840 mm, longer than its competitors in the same segment, CR-V (2,660 mm), Tucson (2,755 mm), CX-5 (2,700 mm).

According to VinFast's announcement, VF 7 has 2 versions, including Eco and Plus. Both use a 75.3 kWh battery pack, for an operating range of 450 km and 431 km respectively.

The Eco version is equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of 201 horsepower, 310 Nm of torque, and one-wheel drive. The car is equipped with 19-inch rims and an interior with a 12.9-inch entertainment screen.

The Plus version is equipped with two electric motors on each axle, 348 horsepower, 500 Nm torque, 2-wheel drive. Optional 20 or 21 inch rims. 15.6 inch entertainment screen.

Vehicle equipped with Level 2 highway driving assistance feature. Lane keeping control, adaptive cruise control, emergency lane keeping assist.

VF 7 introduced at the exhibition is equipped with 21-inch alloy rims with 5-spoke design, with Yokohama Advan Sport tires size 255/40R21.

The interior is equipped with a 15.6-inch touch screen entertainment screen. The 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel integrates many function control keys.

Exterior with the front end designed with typical VinFast, LED positioning strip covering the entire width of the car. Low-mounted LED headlights. The grille is shaped aggressively and sportily.

"VinFast - for a green future" is VinFast's largest electric vehicle exhibition series. The event takes place in 10 provinces and cities across the country, from July 7 to September 20.
