Attending the program were Mr. Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association; Mr. Nguyen Van Phong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.

This year, the ceremony honored 95 excellent valedictorians from the fields of engineering, management - culture - society, economics , pedagogy, medicine - pharmacy, and armed forces. These are students who graduated from universities and academies in the city with outstanding academic and training achievements.
Among them are many young party members, "5 Good Students" at all levels, role models who have overcome difficulties to rise up, possess scientific research projects that have won domestic and international awards, along with many creative and practical initiatives and solutions in study and life.
Speaking at the Commendation Ceremony, Ms. Vu Thu Ha - Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee acknowledged that the 95 excellent valedictorians are a potential young force of the Capital and the country, the pride of their parents, teachers, schools and hometowns.
The achievements that you have attained are the result of a process of persistent efforts, persistent training, constantly striving to conquer new heights of knowledge; vivid proof of the will, determination and responsibility of the youth in the face of new opportunities for the Capital and the country.
"Today's journey is just the starting point. No matter where you are, always keep a pure heart, a mind that never stops learning and a spirit of tireless dedication to become excellent citizens, a generation of young intellectuals pioneering in the digital age and innovation," said Ms. Ha.

Among the 95 excellent valedictorians recognized, there are 35 males and 60 females. There are 90 valedictorians graduating from public schools and 5 valedictorians graduating from private schools. In terms of academic results, 64 valedictorians achieved excellent results (≥ 9.0/10 according to the year-based training system and ≥ 3.6/4.0 according to the credit-based training system). 31 valedictorians achieved good results (≥ 8.0/10 according to the year-based training system and ≥ 3.2/4.0 according to the credit-based training system). There are 33 excellent valedictorians who are party members; 44 excellent valedictorians who are Youth Union and Association officials.
Representing the 95 honored valedictorians, Nguyen Thi Thuy Huong - an excellent valedictorian graduating from the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2025 shared that in the context of Hanoi and the whole country strongly striving in the digital transformation, developing a knowledge-based economy and deep international integration, today's students - the young intellectuals of the future - must proactively absorb the quintessence of humanity, constantly innovate, dare to think, dare to do, dare to commit, dare to contribute.
"No matter where we are, let's always keep in our hearts our love for our homeland, national pride and the aspiration to contribute to a strong Vietnam, a civilized, modern and happy capital," Huong said.
With all the enthusiasm, intelligence and aspiration to contribute of today's youth, today's 95 valedictorians vow to continue the heroic and cultural tradition of the capital Hanoi, inheriting the pioneering, dedicated and creative spirit of previous generations of youth.
Promote creativity, proactively research, start-up and commit to the community; contribute to building a green, smart and livable capital - a place where knowledge, humanity and development aspirations converge.


Previously, within the framework of this year's program, many meaningful activities took place: The Ceremony of Reporting Achievements to Uncle Ho at President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; Incense Offering Ceremony at Thang Long Imperial Citadel; Exchange program between excellent Valedictorians and typical students of Chu Van An High School; Golden Book Registration Ceremony for excellent Valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the City.
Entering its 23rd year of organization, the program continues to affirm the capital's regular and deep concern for the cause of education - training, nurturing and promoting the young generation.
After more than two decades of implementation, Hanoi has honored 2,351 excellent valedictorians and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Hanoi People's Committee. Many of these valedictorians have held important positions in agencies, organizations, and businesses, promoting their intelligence and courage, making positive contributions to the development of the capital and the country.
