On November 15, 2025, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy ( Dak Lak province) organized the 2024-2025 school year summary program and welcomed new students of the 2025 course with the theme "BMU Flame Up - Conquer the limits".

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Doan Toi - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the democratic, disciplined but humane academic environment, the proactive innovation of teaching methods, the bold application of technology, and especially the fact that students are truly the center of the training process.

Mr. Tran Doan Toi shared that the highlight that creates the new pride of the School is attracting international students, including those from India. The fact that international students trust and choose BMU to study not only demonstrates the academic reputation of the School, but also brings the image of the Central Highlands closer to international friends, creating a rich and modern cultural exchange environment. In addition, the School always creates conditions for the Youth Union and Student Association to promote their roles. Volunteer campaigns, "Students with the community" programs, professional - research - skills clubs... have contributed to forming the mettle, style and vision of future physicians.

The Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department hopes that the School will continue to maintain the spirit of innovation, expand cooperation, promote scientific research, closely connect with the local health system, and gradually build the reputation of a regional medical training center.

Prof. Dr. Cao Tien Duc - Principal of the School emphasized that in the new school year, the School will focus on several major directions: Continuing to innovate training programs, linking theory with practice, improving professional capacity for students; expanding cooperation with hospitals, medical facilities and domestic and international organizations to increase internship, research and employment opportunities for students; increasing investment in facilities, promoting digital transformation, building a modern, standardized and friendly learning environment; taking care of staff development, training lecturers, building academic culture and spirit of serving the community.

At the ceremony, the School honored and awarded 234 scholarships to students and classes with outstanding achievements in the 2024-2025 school year and new students in the 2025-2026 school year with a total value of 1 billion 370 million VND. Thereby, demonstrating strong interest and investment in the future generation of medical human resources.

More than 1,000 Vietnamese and Indian students participated in the Blouse Presentation Ceremony .

In the 2025-2026 academic year, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy welcomed 1,029 new Vietnamese and Indian students.

Within the framework of the program, 1,029 Vietnamese and Indian students of the 2025 class participated in the Blouse Awarding Ceremony - an important traditional activity of health students. The white blouse was solemnly awarded to symbolize purity, professionalism and responsibility associated with the mission of the medical profession. At the same time, it reminded each new student of the core values of a health care worker.

Valedictorian Phan Tri Nhan, a medical student of the 2025 class, shared: “Wearing the white coat at BMU is a great pride. I believe that under the fire of enthusiasm and the spirit of 'Flame Up - Conquering the Limits', we will continue to strive, overcome all challenges to become doctors with compassionate hearts.”

Within the framework of the program, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with 7 business units in the fields of health, education, communication, and career guidance.

The program also included many activities such as: team building competition, art program and the final round of "BMU Ambassador 2025" to find outstanding students with the spirit of "Ethics - Capacity - Passion" of Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
