Vinh Loc speeds up construction progress of key traffic projects

At this time, Vinh Loc district is implementing 3 key traffic projects with a total investment of 240.5 billion VND. In order for the projects to be completed and put into use soon, the district is focusing on directing construction units to speed up progress, ensuring quality and time as prescribed.

The road project from Bong urban center connecting Provincial Road 516B to National Highway 217 to Ha Trung district has a length of more than 6.3km, total investment of 200 billion VND is currently being accelerated by 2 construction units, Tan Son Construction Joint Stock Company and Thang Binh Electrical and Irrigation Construction Company Limited. The representative of the project construction unit consortium - Mr. Nguyen Dang Tao, Director of Thang Binh Electrical Construction and Irrigation Construction Company Limited, said: "Immediately after receiving the site handover, we focused on human resources, machinery, and equipment to speed up the progress. Currently, on the 2 sections of the route with a length of more than 3km, up to this point, the unit has completed the construction of the K95 and K98 roadbed embankment, completed the spreading of 800m of type 2 crushed stone, installed 12 culverts across the road... with the work volume estimated at about 60%. However, there is still nearly 300m stuck, in Vinh Thinh commune, which has not been cleared due to project adjustments. Therefore, we request Vinh Loc district to soon complete the clearance of the stuck section to ensure progress."

The project to repair and upgrade Provincial Road 522, the section connecting National Highway 45 with the main axis of Vinh Loc town center to Buoi river dike, with a length of 1.32km and a total investment of 29.5 billion VND, is being accelerated by the construction unit. Immediately after the project started in October 2023, the construction unit mobilized machinery and human resources for construction. Up to this point, the route has completed tasks such as completing precast components, installing 400m of left-side ditches, completing fences, and filling K98 foundations for 250m... The total volume of work is estimated at about 30%, ensuring compliance with the investor's requirements.

In addition to the above two projects, the project to renovate and upgrade the road from Dong Muc village cultural house to Soc Son 3 village cultural house, Vinh Hung commune, with a length of 2.8km, started in August 2023 and is scheduled to be completed in August 2024. To date, the estimated volume of work has reached about 90%.

Deputy Director of the Vinh Loc District Construction Investment Project Management Board, Trinh Tuan Vu, said: "Vinh Loc District is focusing on constructing 3 key traffic projects, the progress is guaranteed according to the requirements set by the district. In particular, the road project from Bong urban center connecting Provincial Road 516B to National Highway 217 to Ha Trung district is considered an important traffic route, connecting Bong urban with Ha Linh urban (Ha Trung), creating a driving force to promote the district's socio -economic development. Up to now, the completed work volume is estimated at about 45%. The locality is striving for the project to be completed and put into use in the first quarter of 2025".
